Personal Web Pages - FTP Settings

As part of your Crestview Cable service, you are entitled to 1MBPS of personal Web Space and Email. You can download a FTP (File Transfer Protocol) application with your browser to make posting your own Web pages quick and easy.
Make sure to set the Host Name in your FTP software as "www.crestviewcable.com".

Your personal Web Space is stored at http:www.crestviewcable.com/~username".
The upkeep on your web site is your responsibility and we do not offer web creation service, editing or maintenance for your site.

For others to view or access your web site, they would type in http:www.crestviewcable.com/~username.htm or html"
Where "filename.htm or html" is, is the name of your web page file.

You need a FTP program. I personally use "WS_FTP", it is a free download from the internet. A search like AltaVista will find it for you.
